About the Ugly Duckling

Once upon a time, in a peaceful nest near a sparkling lake, a mother duck patiently waitz for her eggs to hatch. One by one, the eggs crack open, and fluffy ducklings emerge, chirping and peeping. But among them is an odd-looking duckling, with feathers that are not soft and yellow like the others, but rather gray and scraggly. Different from his siblings, the other animals in the farmyard noticed.

The poor little duckling is teased and ridiculed by the other ducklings. One day the ugly duckling encounters a group of elegant white birds and aspires to be as beautiful as them.
