Aditi Sharma

Designer and Artistic Producer

Aditi Sharma is a theatre costume and set designer based in The GTA. Growing up, she was fond of making a mess, “because, I was a child, but nothing much has changed”. So, with that theory in mind she went on to become a designer. She has a BFA in Theatre Production (and a minor in performance) from Ryerson University Theatre Production Program.

Select design credits include:

  • Costume design for Yang and Crossing Borders
  • Costumes  for 291 Letters and Shelter from the Rain
  • Set Design for The Artful Widow and The Venetian Twins.

An interesting fact about Aditi: She was raised in Nigeria, but cannot communicate in Yoruba. She has also learned how to comfortably cross her eyes because “it makes my mom uncomfortable, I love it”

'Crane Creations Theatre Company has been a place of education, improvement and persistence. I cannot emphasize how wholistic the companies values and practices are. So I will say, as a growing artist, I am always pushed to achieve the next best creation we can make. Andreja and Aimee are driving forces for me to do better, because they bring their A game, I am excited to carry the ball.
